Arran is a filmmaker and animator specialising in content focused on science, the natural world, and individuals dedicated to transforming our planet for the better. With a background in science communication, Arran has always been driven by the desire to engage audiences beyond the typical environmental bubble with captivating stories about the latest scientific discoveries and wildlife spectacles.

Growing up in Bristol, a renowned hub for natural history TV, Arran was naturally drawn towards a career in wildlife filmmaking. Having worked as a researcher on various natural history shows, including Wild Babies on Netflix and The Americas (set to be released in summer 2024), Arran's passion for the ocean environment intensified over time. This led them to volunteer with The Marine Diaries on their Marine Ecosystem Diaries project, and collaborate on films with organisations like EcoSapien, Earth Minutes, and Future Explored.

Through these projects, Arran uses his camera skills and self-taught animation techniques to shed light on critical issues facing our oceans and the dedicated conservationists striving to protect them. Arran also produces presenter-led videos focused around new technology and climate change, aiming to educate and inspire a wide audience.

In the depths of adversity, a female technical diver and avid photographer’s life took an unexpected turn at 60 metres below the surface. "Waves of Change" follows her journey from the depths of despair to adapting to her new reality as she navigates the uncharted waters of disability. The character's determined spirit shines through as she refuses to let her paralysis confine her to the shore. Her love for the ocean persists, and the film chronicles her struggles, triumphs, and unwavering passion for the underwater realm, as she adapts to disabled diving.

As she embarks on her journey to rediscovering the ocean as a disabled person, Waves of Change reveals the stark reality of the inaccessibility of blue spaces for disabled people. Amidst these challenges, Wheel The World emerges as a catalyst for change. The film showcases how this online platform, born out of the determination of two disabled friends, is transforming the narrative of accessible travel and making the ocean a space for everyone.
